WHAT'S HAPPENING?

During normal One Day School classes:

There was much discussion of alphabets, word games, inventing of languages, designing of Scrabble boxes...

Plus two lucky classes were selected to visit the Scrabble factory, and found out exactly how the game is made!

A famous face or two to popped in for a game as well, including:

MPs Rodney Hide, Anne Tolley, Louisa Wall at Owairaka ODS
MP Dail Jones at Westminster ODS
Mayor Mr. Jono Naylor, Diana Neild and Dr. Farah Palmer (ex Captain of the NZ Womens Rugby Team) at Palmerston North ODS
Deputy Mayor Rachel Reese at Nelson

Did you not get around to sponsoring a child? You can still do so via Fundraise On-Line here.

Also winning an MP3 player is Logan Mc – another wonderful effort – well done!

Emily J, Hannah and Joshua P, Brandon P and Gabriel C all win prizes donated by MATTEL™ - thank you all!!

Their amazing efforts, along with that made by each and every one of our One Day School™ students participating in this nationwide fundraising effort have been part of earning over $6000 for the Centre!!!
